Follow these simple steps to get your Minecraft server up and running in minutes. No technical experience needed!

PURCHASE YOUR PLAN

Head to our billing portal and register for an account. Choose the plan that suits you — Starter is perfect for a small group of friends, Pro handles up to 40 players, and Ultra is for serious communities.

  • Create your RapidNodes account
  • Choose your plan and complete payment via Stripe
  • Your server will be deployed automatically within 60 seconds

FIND YOUR SERVER DETAILS

Once your server is deployed, log into the billing portal and go to Services. Click on your server to find your connection details including your IP address and port number.

Note: Your server address will look something like 217.154.62.113:25565 — you'll need this to connect in Minecraft.

CONNECT IN MINECRAFT

Open Minecraft and connect to your server. The steps are slightly different depending on your platform:

Java Edition
Bedrock / PE
  • Open Minecraft Java Edition
  • Click Multiplayer
  • Click Add Server
  • Enter a server name e.g. My RapidNodes Server
  • Enter your server address (IP:Port) from your billing portal
  • Click Done then select your server and click Join Server
  • Open Minecraft Bedrock / Pocket Edition
  • Click Play then Servers
  • Scroll down and click Add Server
  • Enter a server name and your IP address
  • Enter your port number separately
  • Click Save and then connect
Note: Bedrock players can only connect to servers running Bedrock-compatible software. Our servers run Paper (Java Edition) by default.

INVITE YOUR FRIENDS

Share your server address with your friends so they can join! Simply send them your IP address and port and they can connect using the same steps above.

Tip: You can copy your server address from the billing portal and paste it directly into Minecraft.

COMMON QUESTIONS

How long does it take for my server to be ready? +
Your server is deployed automatically within 60 seconds of payment. You'll receive a confirmation email once it's ready.
What version of Minecraft does my server run? +
Our servers run the latest version of Paper (Java Edition) by default. If you need a specific version, raise a support ticket and we'll help you out.
Can I install mods and plugins? +
Yes! Paper supports all Bukkit/Spigot plugins. You can install them via the file manager in your control panel. For modpacks, raise a support ticket and we'll assist you.
Can I upgrade my plan later? +
Yes — you can upgrade from Starter to Pro or Ultra at any time via the billing portal. Your world data will be preserved.
How do I cancel my server? +
You can cancel anytime from the billing portal with no penalties. Your server will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Where are your servers located? +
All our servers are based in the United Kingdom, giving UK players the best possible connection speeds and latency.
